I shared with you guys earlier in the week that my husband and I are trying to live frugally in order to purchase our first home. One of the ways we planned on doing this was by eating out only 3 times a month. We found out that cutting eating out cold turkey was a really BAD idea! So rather than depriving ourselves, we decided to eat out smarter! In addition to designating how many times we would eat out a month, we promised that we only eat out when we had coupons or special discounts! Never heard of coupons for eating out? There are so many awesome programs out there now for many national and local restaurants! They offer really amazing coupons! You just have to know where to find them. So I have done some of the leg work for ya! Here are some of the great restaurant discount/reward programs my family uses for our favorite restaurants!
Applebee’s: They have a great e-program that texts you amazing coupons. Just for signing up, I immediately got a text for $3 dollars off our bill. I have also received 2 messages for B1G1 free entrees! That is huge savings! You can find out how to sign up by visiting your local Applebee’s. Want the info by email? Go to Applebee’s website to sign up for email alerts!
Red Robin: Red Robin has a great program called Red Royalty . You ask for the card at your local Red Robin restaurant. You can enroll in the program immediately if you have a web capable phone and score a free appetizer right away! You also get a burger free after you buy 10 burgers or sandwiches! Chili’s: Chili’s Eclub is one of my favorites! I have gotten free chips and queso, free molten lava cake, and you get special invites to nights where kids eat free with a paid adult! With having 3 kids, this saves us a bundle! You can sign up for the eclub online here, and you will immediately get a coupon for free queso and chips! Yum!
T.G.I.Fridays: This is another club we use alot. The Give Me More Stripes club, sends you a lot of great offers as well. We have scored a free appetizer that was absolutely yummy. Plus for each dollar you spend at T.G.I.Friday you earn a point towards your next reward. We are almost at our second reward for a free dessert. They have the best desserts! Panera: I can’t stop eating at Panera. I absolutely love their Asiago cheese bagels. Even places like Panera have clubs now. Theirs is called myPanera! With myPanera you get a key tag that you attach to your keys each time you go to Panera, they scan your card. I have already earned a free smoothie, a free bagel, and $1 off a soda. I only go there once a month or so, and I am still earning big! Sign up for myPanera, by visiting your local Panera or heading to the website here.
Red Lobster: Are you a seafood lover? Red Lobster has their own club as well! They send you great coupons, and even a freebie for your birthday! Just sign up for their great club, by visiting here!
Restaurants dot com: This is a great site where you can buy gift certificates for your favorite local restaurants for way below retail! The always have coupon codes out that make their already lower prices even cheaper. I have used them to score $30 in certificates for only $2. No, I am not kidding! I love this program!
