It’s summer time, and I am always looking for a way to give a twist to an old family favorite. During summer time, my mom always used to make these great desserts called strawberry delight pretzel bakes. They were made with a layer of pretzels, cream cheese, and strawberry yumminess.
Recently, I was able to try some of the great products made from Old London. They have a amazing line of crackers and snacks. My mom used to eat their melba toast religiously when I was a kid. When I got a hold of the sea salt melba snacks, and I just knew that they would make an amazing substitute in this recipe!
I was trying to make this recipe a little bit more nutritious. Why not give it a whirl with one of my favorite products from Old London. The sea salt melba snacks have a light salty flavor that blend extremely well with a little sugar and cream cheese. They are made with whole wheat, so they are full of fiber and flavor. Plus they made a great extra twist to this fan favorite.
