Thanks to the Internet, communicating with others has gotten so much easier over the years. Since Google+ started earlier this year, a new kid is on the block; Google+ hangouts. I was actually able to do my first Google+ hangout this week, and I have to say that it is how to chat with multiple people that aren’t in your area.
If you haven’t signed up for Google+, you should. So many people use Gmail nowadays, and Google+ is really easy to sign up for just using your Gmail account.
Once you log into your Google+ account, it’s pretty easy learn how to chat using your Google+ hangout! You do need to download the software to use the video chat. You can find it in the upper right hand corner or you can find it here on Google Video Chat Downloads. Once you download the video chat, you are ready to start your hangout!
Click the button in the upper right hand column that says “Start Hangout”
After you click this button, another screen will pop up. It will tell you are about to start a hangout, and that you are the first one to join. Click the “Join” button.

After you click the “Join” button, don’t forget to invite your friends. It’s a hangout after all. Click the “invite” button. This will send an invitation to your friends’ Google+ wall. All they need to do to accept the invitation is to click the button on their wall!

Once your friends accept your invitation, they will show up in the bottom of the screen. They the option of using a microphone and a video camera or just the mic. The program is great because it rotates the upper picture based on who’s talking at the time. It makes it really easy to follow the conversation. It’s perfect for conference calls, and it’s really find the perfect way how to chat online!!

Google+ Hangouts have everything you need ease of use, convenience, and great smart software. It really made my last conference call a breeze. It took me two seconds to download the information to use it, and we were able to use it the first time we tried.
