Old Navy Outerwear: Dare to look Fabulous!

I have been an Old Navy fan ever since I found out about their amazing wife beater tank tops! When I lived in Florida, my wardrobe consisted of my favorite Old Navy tank top and jeans. Throw in a pair of comfy flip flops, and I was set!

Three years ago, I moved to Indiana, where I was in for a bit of culture shock! I moved in November of all times! Started in Florida where it was 65 degrees and ended up in Indiana where it was already snowing, YIKES!

I quickly found it was so hard to find a winter coat that is both functional and stylish. You either had your choice of wearing a parka and look like the giant marshmallow, or you could pick something stylish and freeze to death. I, being a comfort girl, chose the parka and spent two years looking like a marshmallow! Being a curvy girl, I really didn’t need the extra fluff, but I kind of like my appendages and didn’t want to lose them to frost bite.

In comes Old Navy to save the day! They have outerwear that is both fashionable AND functional. Their line of outerwear offers everything from puffy frost free coats to the more tailored line of  double breasted wool coats. There is a selection that just about anybody will look absolutely fabulous in! Doesn’t matter if you are looking to be tailored or fun and flirty Old Navy has you covered!

So, I set off on on a mission! No longer was I going to sport an old fluffy ski jacket. I was going to rock it this winter with something that was warm and fabulous! After a day of fun at Old Navy, I found the perfect coat!

I am a bit of pear shape, and it’s really a fine art to find a coat that doesn’t make me look a lot larger than I am. Old Navy had a great selection of outerwear that fits every shape and size, even people that are curvy like me!

I fell in love with their double breasted wool coat in black, but after a little bit more searching found one I just couldn’t live with out! I look absolutely fabulous in the wool blend coat! It has a great tie that accentuates my little waist, while it has enough room in it to manage my hips!

My friend Brooke was also with me, and our body types are really different! She is taller and leaner than I am, but she was able to find a coat that she looked fabulous in as well!

It’s awesome to be able to go shopping with your friends and know that all of you are going to walk out looking fabulous no matter the body type! We definitely decided that we are proud to members of the Old Navy Style council, and can’t wait to see other goodies we can rock the next time we shop!
