Being a mom to three kids, I am always looking for ways to make my job easier. All three of my kids have chores that they do every day, but I have yet been able to come up with a system that actually helps me keep track on what they have done.
I have tried paper charts and stickers. I have tried Excel spreadsheets, but those methods are great in theory. They just don’t usually actually get used. My life is a little too hectic to sit down and get the stickers out to put on a chart, as silly as that may sound, but it’s the truth!
All three of my kids attend an online public school. I love the format because I can check it off on my computer as I am working, and I am right there if they need any help. That’s why I fell in love with My Job Chart! I emailed my kids the link to the site, and all they have to do is log in and click off their chores!
My Job Chart is an awesome site that offers a free online chore chart, that makes it amazingly easy for parents to teach kids responsibility!
When you first log on, you add your family members. Then you pick from a list of chores and assign them to each child. Each chore has a point level. You also assign rewards that the kids can exchange their points for!
I know my kids are going to be super excited about being able to see their progress, and saving up for the rewards that they want the most!
I can’t tell you how excited I am about this chart. I just emailed it to my kids and they are biting at the bit to get started on it. It’s nice to have FREE kids online programs like this, that help me teach them the lessons that are important and make my life easier as well!
