Mechatars are an amazing toy that combines two different dimensions. Never before have I seen a toy that offers both online AND offline play as well as Mechatars. It is both fun and interactive, and uses a child’s imagination and strategy skills to build up its Mechatar world.

Your Mechatar’s journey begins by loading it up to the Mechatar online realm. This was super easy to do, and I found my son lost in it for hours just checking out all the neat battle areas and building up the Mechatar.

Online you can equip your Mechatar with various weapons, load missions to play offline, build alliances, and challenge your skills to earn points. My son’s favorite area was the daily battle arena. You battle to build up your Mechatar’s experience points and strengthen your Mechatar abilities.

The online site is comprised of the Arena, Social, and Store. The Arena is where you complete your daily battles to build up your Mechatar. You can also complete various tasks to earn experience points and money to spend in the store.

The social area is where you can build up your alliance. Grab the Mechatar IDs of your friends, and build up your alliance online. Battle and play in the safe environment of Mechatars online. Kids play safely because they have to know the numeric ID of their friends’ Mechatar in order to play. There isn’t a search function where kids can just search to play. At first, I didn’t like this idea, but thinking about it more it makes the whole alliance more personal and safe for kids to play!

The store is the mecca of Mechatars! You can buy upgrades, download offline missions, and get your Mechatar ready to kick some butt. I really liked the offline missions. You can purchase missions and then search your home to complete the missions and battle the swarm and protect the universe!

The only glitch I found with Mechatars is that the website doesn’t seem to like Google Chrome. This is the browser that I use most of the time, and I found that the Mechatar website seemed to freeze up on me alot while playing. I didn’t have these problems with IE or other browsers. Just a heads up for those of you that use Chrome, you might want to download the latest Internet Explorer browser to make sure your little person has no problems navigating this fun online world!

Offline you can also battle your friends! So grab your friends and their Mechatar! When your online you can build yours up to crush your buddy the next time you play together! That’s the best part of Mechatars is you can play in both realms. This is a toy that your child will never get tired of. It’s the ultimate interactive toy. It zooms across any floor surface, just make sure you are ready to dog the lightning fast speed of the Mechatar as it races to save the Universe!
