Telling that flab to take a hike takes some serious working out. Of course getting into a good groove it’s all about the music. I have been going to the gym and switching between the elliptical machine and the treadmill to keep my muscles constantly guessing.
When I am rocking it on the elliptical machine, I make sure that I have some tunes that help me do intervals. This is a great way to burn more calories and to keep your workouts interesting. (Being on the verge of puking is interesting right?)
When it comes to working out, I am like an ADHD kid in school. I get bored really easily. That’s usually when I start to give up. You so know what I mean. What’s the fun in feeling like you have to drag yourself out of bed and drudge your lazy big butt to the treadmill. Doesn’t sound like a good time to me!
Being a rockstar that I am, if I have my tunes I actually look forward to going to the gym. (No, I am not feeling ill) It’s actually a whole hour that I can have some me time and jam out to my favorite songs as the sweat starts to pour. It’s just an added bonus that I happen to be getting rid of this extra large tooshie. (Lost two pounds so far, thank you, thank you!)
