From time to time I share interesting tidbits about my husband, Mr. Crunchy. He’s that big teddy bear, ex-Marine type and I love him to bits. What I don’t love is his underwear habit. Yes, my dears my husband has an undewear habit. His habit is to wear his underwear until they are more holy than the Pope on Sunday.
Working a pretty heavy labor job, he tends to blow through pants pretty quickly. He is so rough on his underwear that I have had to take to cutting them up in order to prevent him from wearing them again! (If he had some time, he would probably sew them back together just to be stubborn). Ever since the beginning of our marriage I have had to take to shredding, ripping, tearing his divine underwear. That way, I know if something ever happened to him he would have a WHOLE pair of drawers on when it happened.
He’s about down to his last pair so it was time to upgrade his underwear and find something that was not only comfortable, but would last the abuse that Mr. Crunchy was going to put it through. (Do you know how hard it is to shop for a man who’s thighs are the size of redwood trunks?)
Recently we decided to head to Kmart. I had heard that Mario Lopez had a line of men’s underwear that is both cute and comfy. (I think I just heard Mr. Crunchy cringe at the word cute). I have to say that yes, they did look pretty comfy. The colors were a little bit different. Mr. Crunchy REFUSED to wear a pair of bright green underdrawers.
After searching around a little bit, we were able to find something that was going to turn the tide in the battle of the underpants. Mr. Crunchy was able to find some boxer briefs that had colorful bands but the bottoms were gray or black that he loves! (As much as a man can love his underwear anyway)
