When I was a child, my mother always told me I had a very “old soul.” I was always more apt to get along with adults than kids my own age. Always fretting and stressing out about getting straight As, I didn’t really spend a lot of time just being a kid! (Yes, I was THAT kid)
As I have gotten older, I guess I am making up for lost time. Now I am THAT mom! You know, the one that isn’t afraid to ride the bikes up and down the aisle of Toys R Us. Yep, the one that is the queen of funny faces in the home. If it’s silly and childish, I am doing it. Life is just too short to be too serious. (You would’ve thought I had gotten MORE mature with age, not less mature)
That’s what is so cool about Children’s Hospital, characters like Owie and Ritchie, act like giant kids. It’s hilarious, but in all reality it’s a great way to relate to kids! Honestly, being more childlike has made me a better parent. It lets them know that it’s ok to be a kid and be silly, plus it makes you young at heart!
The crazy antics that are always happening at Childrens Hospital make for great comedy. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if you could actually find a hospital like that? I bet the recovery rates would go through the roof! Check out this cool video to see what I am talking about!
