Drain Claw: A Green Way to unclug those icky drains!

Ever since moving into my home three years ago, we have ALWAYS had slow draining drains. The bathtubs, the bathrooms sinks, you name it we had standing water.

We had tried SO many different chemicals to get the drains clear, but honestly I didn’t like putting all those chemicals into the water. That and there was this little incident where Mr. Crunchy tried to kill me with drain cleaner. It went something like this:

Drain in the Crunchy bathroom sink was clogged. No amount of plunging or Mr. Plumber was clearing it.
Enter Mr. Crunchy to save the day with a really toxic cleaner that required a BAG around the plastic jug to be sold.
Mr. Crunchy thought it was a good idea to use Crunchy’s drinking glass in the bathroom to cover the drain as per the drain cleaner instructions.
After the set time, Mr. Crunchy puts the cup BACK on the counter and pours water down the drain. Drain cleared! Like magic.
But, enter Crunchy to use her drinking glass to take a medication and she notices a icky metallic taste. Her lips start to burn, she instantly nauseated. Oh the horror!

You get the drift. I tease him to this day that if he was gonna knock me off he should at least insure me first.

The lesson of the story is that harsh chemical drain cleaners are yucky, not just in your water drinking glass, but also for the environment.

Drain Claw has all these tiny little hooks that get rid of the main thing that clogs drains. HAIR! I wasn’t a believer at first, but when I pulled out massive clumps of hair and my drains started working properly I am a complete believer now. I mean look at this nasty stuff that came out of my drains. I mean ewwww, gross!

Drain Claw

I was lucky enough to be able to review the Drain Claw, but I know the Crunchy household will be using them from now on to unclog our drains. It makes me feel much better than putting harsh chemicals into our environment! Want to grab a Drain Claw yourself? Then head to The Drain Claw Website and check them out!

Thanks for such a helpful review! We have the problem too & have spent so much money on different products that didn’t work. We will have to look for this & give it a try.
