I recently had the pleasure of reviewing the fabulous planners from dotmine planners! Those that have known me for a while, know that I am a little bit OCD, but I am extremely disorganized. I can’t tell you how many times my husband has threatened to put a homing beeper on my keys and my purse because I am constantly losing them. Well my scatter brain also leads me to forget important events! I have tried using my iPhone, online reminders systems, and several paper planners, but nothing seems to stick. That is until I fell in love with my dotmine planner!

dotmine day planners was founded in 2000 by Lisa Edwards and Sarah Nicoli, two Michigan moms that wanted to get their lives organized and help others do the same!

Since 2000 they have introduced 3 lines of great products to meet the different needs of those needing to organize!

Each of the planners come with monthly and weekly planning pages. This way you can see your major plans over the course of the month, but also break down things you need to do each week all in one place!

time.mine: A great planner that is geared towards the teen/young adult professional.  It includes some great academic planning tools and comes in many great covers!

family_time.mine: This planner is every Mommy’s dream! It has amazingly cute covers, and even fun colorful reminder stickers! It comes with a plastic spiral bound cover and preforated margins that make “tear out” lists and making notes to run those errands even easier!

life_time.mine: This is the professionals planner that offers the sleek look of the working person that you can take to an afternoon meeting or toss it in your purse to organize your every day life! It has great places to take notes and even a folder in the back to tuck receipts or important memos.

Each of these great planners offer 17 months of planning. I particularly loved this feature, because you don’t have to wait until the end of the year to get your new planner started! You can get a planner that fits your needs and get it right away! Wondering about the philosophy about the 17 months? Well dotmine explains it the best! “It covers the academic year and the calendar year without having to print twice!” Sounds like working smarter not harder to me, and you can use one book for everything and not have to worry about grabbing another copy at the end of the year!

I was able to personally review the life_time.mine planner. My life has gotten to be so chaotic since I began blogging that I kept finding that I was forgetting to post something, forgot doctor’s appointments, or even other events I had planned. Now I can write it all down in my planner, and it’s small enough to fit into my purse! Each time I sit down for the day to see what I have going on, I just flip to the week and look at the notes I have written. Each week has a great work and life section in the margins where you can write notes! I use this for things that I want to accomplish during the week. It’s great for grocery lists, things to do around the house, or whatever errands you might have to do that week! Even my husband has noticed a difference since I started using my planner. Ok, I am STILL losing my keys, but at least I am not forgetting all those appointments even more!

Another feature I like about the life_time.mine planner is you have a great ribbon to keep your spot! You don’t have to flip to what week you are on, you can just place your handy dandy ribbon, and your at your page. There is even a folder in the back to tuck important papers you might need throughout the week. I usually tuck my coupons for shopping trips back there. That way they are scattered in my purse anymore!
