Based on a true story this exciting book follow the tale of Shari and Nathan. Everything seems to be going perfectly for them, but in a day everything changes.
Newly engaged, Shari and Nathan are dreaming of the big promotion that he’s been working on. Instead, he is met at work and accused of fraud then promptly fired. Things get worse for the couple, and then encounter a man that promises big money and to turn their lives around.
Both out of work, they decide to change “careers” and try their hand at staging car crashes to bilk the insurance companies. It’s exciting and dangerous, and it just might be the ticket they need to survive. All of this is great, but is it worth the danger that comes with it?
Will they strike it rich? Will they end up in jail? You’ll have to read Crashers to find out!
MY TAKE
I loved this book. I am a junkie for true crime kinds of stories. I found the writing very easy to read, and she spared no details without boring you to tears. I literally couldn’t put the book down.
If you are a fan of true crime books, or just want to try something different, I would highly recommend Crashers. It’s a great read, and it will definitely make you think. How would you approach the situation if you were offered “easy money”?
