Summer time is here, and it’s time to have some fun in the sun. We recently decided to host a 101 Days of Summer Play Banana Boat Party. We invited 15 of our nearest and dearest friends to have a blast in our backyard and learn a little bit more about how to take care of their skin this summer.
IT’S PARTY TIME!
We threw burgers on the grill, had the fruit salad all ready to go, and had an amazing time. The kids ran around the back yard riding bikes, playing on our swing set, and rocking the hoola hoops.
I think the funniest part of the day was when my friend’s two year old son grabbed my daughters purple bicycle helmet and wanted to go for a whirl on a big kid bike. I have to admit he does look extremely adorable in that helmet!
BANANA BOAT NATURAL REFLECT LOTION: ALL NATURAL SUNSCREEN
It was a fantastic way to kick off the summer, and an even better way to learn more about Banana Boat Natural Reflect Lotion!
Being fair skinned, I am really vigilent about educating my friends and family about the importance of skin care. With the hot summer rays it’s even more important to make sure you have that sunscreen right on hand.

Being green like I am, I am all about natural products that don’t use unneccesary chemicals that are bad for my family, and for the environment.
Banana Boat teamed up with Sarah Snow, a natural living expert and mom, to formulate this sunscreen that is free of oxybenzone and parabens. It contains 100% naturally-sourced mineral suncreens Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. You can feel good about the sunscreen you are putting on your family. My friends and family absolutely loved the sunscreen. It’s a lot thicker to put on, and not one person got a sunburn during our party! (Sunburn is the worst way to ruin a good time!)

After trying the fabulous sunscreen everyone was ready to take the Banana Boat 101 Days of Summer Pledge! By taking the pledge, they promised to encourage their kids to play outside every day this summer!

This is such a great way to plan to have fun this summer, and help some ill kids to have a blast too!
